Poem: What if flowers can speak?

Looking out from my window, what do I see? The little flower from my plant is talking to me! I gasp and cheer, with surprise and fear, What is next in the story? Peril or glory? Now I have a new friend, to talk to every day! And we are similar, in quite a few ways! We are colorful, cheerful, and thoughtful as well, Who needs a pet, when a flower is your friend? I do not know, am I dreaming or living? Or is this my mind, believing and imagining? When a flower can talk, this is a magical world, And now it is spreading, to every boy and girl!

Iris and Israel found the world Chapter 3

  Chapter 3 Iris's face was covered with sweat beads. Now there was no choice, going in, nor going out. She had to be cautious. A lot of movement would give it more chances of a shark attack. Just then, Iris remembered the book cupboard. She quietly went down, in a motion that seemed that she wouldn’t reach down even if an hour was done! But our girl was full of surprises. She quietly skimmed through the pages. There it was, what to do if in a shark attack. Great! She shut the book and jolted her way to the deck, quietly but fast. Israel and Hail were frozen like the shark had put some sort of spell on them. Iris handed Hail the book and Israel ran to the crew. The Nightmare Night

It was a cold, silent night. I was sleeping in my warm, cozy bedroom, with my little sister, Aadhya. There, I heard thunder and lightning roar like the old pair of lions and tigers. I shivered. My heart literally started beating out of my own chest. I checked the curtains peeping out. I saw a shadow. I don't know what hit me, but instead of running to tell my parents, I hid under my blanket after putting another one over my sister's head. I heard the door creak.
