Happy Birthday! Finally it was Emily, Sarah and Mario’s birthday. You remember them, right? Well if the answer is yes then you might remember Smirk and Lily too. “Huuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhh!’’ yawned the triplets. “Well’’ said Miss Rudyard. “They might have to hit the sack now’’ said Mister Rudyard. “Sure have and finally, Humph!’’ said Edgy, their next door neighbor. Edgy parents were Mister and Miss Rudyard’s best friends but their kids where downright enemies. “Now, now’’ said Miss Rudyard. “They will become friends, right?’’ whispered Martha(Miss Rudyard) to Glenda Mortan (Edgy’s mother). “Sure they will. Well they will have to break the ice sooner or later.’’ said Miss Mortan. “Come on mom, I don’t even know these kids and you want me to accept them as my friends? Not going to happen!” Miss Morten coughed. “Edgy you know them and you have got to break the ice sometime!’’ replied Miss Morten in a stern and a ‘this should be done voice’. Edgy knew this voice, it meant her mom was serious and wanted something done. The next morning, Edgy’s great aunt had a real big case to be solved. Fabulous Five! yelled Mrs. Martin in a panic-stricken voice. My house is haunted!! Hahahahahaha! laughed Mario and Smirk. But Emily interrupted. “Well if you get scared, don’t get crying like a baby. And sure enough, it was one of their worst nightmare come true, and if you are sacred of haunted houses, you can still turn the page because it was their worst enemy, Edgy. “Uhhhhhhhhhhhh!’’ moaned Edgy. “Literally Aunty, LITERALLY!!!!!’’ “This is the worst ‘stay at my grandma’s house for a sleepover and enjoy with her family tradition ever!’’ sulked Edgy. “Now, now. What could possibly go wrong?’’ “Right, exactly, what?’’ moaned the boys. “Well, have a good time sleeping’’ laughed the girls altogether. That night at nine, the girls  played in the living room while Edgy, Smirk and Mario were in their rooms.  Just then the lights sparked and everything went black. They heard a loud moan. Just then Mrs. Martin fainted.

The next day, they heard some sounds again. The kids followed them (the sounds) and found themselves in a strange basement. It was a secret room! Edgy’s great aunt was shocked.

”My! What in the knitting world is that!’’ said the almost clueless Mrs. Martin. 

Everybody started asking Lily what had happened.“It’s a secret passage. Please do not worry!’’ said Lily almost frustrated. Lily pulled Sara into her room. “Really why does she have to come! And why does everyone keep asking only me what that is?!’’  Sara could see that something was bothering Lily. “Are you scared?’’ asked Sara. “Fine, I am a little afraid.’’ “Its okay’’ confronted Sara. Finally Emily stepped in and in a grumbly but soft voice said- CUM UN CUM UT NO! If you didn’t understand any of that then let me translate it for you. She said-COME ON COME OUT NOW! Reluctantly they came out. Everyone called the police but the police was busy and said that they will come tomorrow. Everybody finally went off to sleep after Edgy introduced her little sister, Cassi. Cassi had short blonde hair and cheeky green cat- eyes. Her rosy cheeks brightened her appearance and her blue checkerboard dress matched her bright blue headband. The next day the found out that Edgy and Cassi were missing! Mrs. Martin was scared out of her wits. “Stay here Ma’am.’’ But Miss Martin told them to call her Grandi. They called their elder brother, Nick to drive them to only one place, the very end of the secret basement which was a mile away from the house, disguised as a dam. “Get out of here!” shouted the sisters to two men in a yellow coat. “Well looking for this?’’ said Smirk holding a golden box with a diamond in it. “So this is where they hide while making that illusion.’’ realized Lily. The robbers rushed to get it but on one condition they would let Edgy and Cassi leave. “No way!’’ said the robbers. But they really wanted it. They finally agreed and let the girls free. And all of them became friends.
